On weekend, we spent the whole day to finish our report regarding Three villages we’ve surveyed before, then before Maghrib we went to relax and enjoy the sunset on Pelabuhan Bade. Skip to Monday morning, pak Akbar gave me his book with Mushafir and Teaching theme and gave us Two pillow of breads, strawberry jam and Nasi kuning for our goods on the way, at first I thought it would be bothersome for me to carry foods all the way, I did not know how much I respect his gift after.

At first we planned to visited Tagaimon Sino and Tagaimon Karome and spent the night in Gayu for safety reason, but we need to refill our speedboat fuels on Kampung Mur, Nabioman Mapai District first which took most of time during travel, that was why we then changed plan to visit Kampung Gayu and Kampung Kaime. Both villages were planned SPEL+APDAL to be implemented, it did not need much time to survey, we only need to check the proposed area for SPEL implementation and asked about social activities of locals. A significant social gap happened between these Two villages though their near location (30 minutes using speedboat-85), when we visited, Kepala Kampung of both villages was not in there. In Kampung Gayu most of the locals we met, freely shared their thoughts about Kepala Kampung corruption and nepotism, they want anggaran dana desa (ADD) were used to develop their villages, but when I asked in which development, they could not figure it out and they were to afraid against Kepala Kampung for no reason. In the other hand, people of Kampung Kaime did not give any critics for their Kepala Kampung, they too tired of every survey but never been realized as Kampung Gayu, but they used ADD to bought Diesel to light the villages up and have an operator to maintenance the diesel, while in Kampung Gayu the operator was Kepala Kampung’s child and he broke the Diesel in the beginning.

After both villages were surveyed, we headed back from Kaime to Gayu on Maghrib, Five of us decided to sleep in a 3x4 m² Pos Covid Building, finally our sleeping bags could fulfill it function. With limited space we had a lot of great time, ate bread from pak Akbar as dinner and played Ludo with Pak Heri and pak Nor. Pak Nor placed first, I was the runner up, and Alvin-ECe-Pak Heri had a tight and twisted game in the end.
